Eventfully Yours Expo was created for one simple reason: Africans don’t know how to do small events. Even our “tiny gathering” will still have décor, caterer, MC, DJ, and somebody’s aunty insisting on taking pictures.
So instead of pretending otherwise, we built a marketplace that brings everyone together; vendors, celebrators, planners, and the people who just love a good party, right here in the DMV.

Hi, I’m Ola; An event planner, professional “over-celebrator,” and the person who believes that every life moment deserves small chops, soft life, and at least one dramatic entrance.
I created Eventfully Yours Expo for one very important reason: to make sure Africans are seen, properly celebrated, and finally free from the myth that planning an event has to be stressful. Because let’s be honest, somewhere along the way, our community decided that event planning must include chaos, shouting, and at least two family members arguing over Aso Ebi colors and guest count. I’m here to break that generational pattern.
As the founder of OMA Events LLC, I’ve spent years helping people turn “small gathering” into “WHOA, this looks like a luxury wedding.” I love details, I love beautiful experiences, and I love watching people enjoy their day without losing their minds over vendors, décor, or aunty’s last-minute requests.
Eventfully Yours Expo is my love letter to the community, a place where celebrators can meet trustworthy vendors, collect inspiration, ask all their questions, and leave feeling like, “Ah, planning no hard like that!”
It’s also a place where vendors can shine, connect, and show off the magic they create.
